Accessing finance for low income housing in Thaiba, Lalitpur

An agreement has been done between Lumanti Support Group for Shelter and Ganeshsthan Women Agricultural Multi-purpose cooperative Limited for accessing finance to support low income families in Thaiba for the construction and renovation of houses.

As the first phase of housing program in Thaiba, total of 25 low income families will be provided soft loan for housing construction and renovation. The maximum loan amount for each household is one million Nepalese rupees for the period of 7 years with 10 percent interest rate per annum.

Lumanti Support Group for Shelter will be providing technical support through Mudita for the construction and renovation of the houses.
