The five-day Training of Trainers for the Land Literacy Program, a joint effort by the Lumanti Support Group for Shelter and the Land Management Training Center, concluded on March 7, 2025, at the Land Management Training Center in Dhulikhel, Kavre. This comprehensive training initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants regarding land management and literacy, thereby empowering them to effectively address land-related issues within their communities.
 

A total of 26 individuals participated in the program, representing a diverse group that included community representatives, youth, women, and municipal officials from Dharan, Kalaiya Kalika Municipality, Sundar Haraicha Municipality, and Jeetpursimara Sub-metropolitan City. The participants also includes staff members from Lumanti Support Group for Shelter and Community Women Forum.
 

The program, which took place from March 3 to 10, 2025, was meticulously tailored for local government employees, local facilitators, civil society members, and personnel from community-based organizations.

During the closing ceremony, certificates were awarded to the participants by the Chief Guest, Mr. Hari Prasad Rizal, Chairperson of the Land Issues Resolving Commission, alongside Ms. Guheshwori Shrestha, the Chair of the Lumanti Support Group for Shelter.
