
Accessing Finance for low income housing
A tri-party agreement between Lumanti Support Group for Shelter, Ward No. 21 office of Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Khokana Women Saving & Credit Group Limited is done on 10th April 2019. The agreement is primarily aimed to carry out housing program covering 100 earthquake affected low income families in Khokana.
Maximum of Nrs 700000.00 will be mobilized to the needy earthquake affected families upon recommendation from the ward office. The loan will be mobilized through Khokana Women Cooperative charging 10 percent interest per annum for the period of maximum 7 years.
Lumanti is facilitating the program for necessary coordination with the stakeholders and community mobilization whereas the ward office will be contributing for technical support.
